RTP explained: compare games accurately

RTP describes a theoretical long-run return for a game. It does not predict your next spin or how quickly a casino processes a withdrawal.

A mathematical example

At a theoretical RTP of 96%, the corresponding house edge is 4%. For an illustrative total stake of 1,000, the theoretical loss is 40 over the long run. An individual session can differ substantially; this is not a promise of getting 960 back.

Check the exact version

Read the help or paytable of the game you can actually access. Compare the same version, rules and bet type. A figure for one slot configuration or blackjack rule set should not be applied to every game with a similar name.

RTP is not a casino ranking

Volatility describes a different aspect of the results. Neither a high RTP nor low volatility eliminates losses. A casino-wide payout comparison would need comparable data, periods and game mixes; we do not infer one from a few selected games.
